The proposals for the West End are focussed on connecting the town centre to the riverside at Victoria Quay and making better links to the Quarry. This would include opportunities for creating a new workhub in the West End and the potential for re-purposing some of the surface car parking for a range of uses. The focus is on making this part of town more people and pedestrian-friendly, better connected to its surroundings and less dominated by traffic.
